Established in 2023, Sorse Gallery (pronounced /sAWs/ like horse) is a collaborative operation primarily working with contemporary artists for the exhibition and promotion of various creative projects. We seek to connect emerging and established creative practices with diverse audiences within and beyond our gallery walls. Additionally, we provide opportunities for under-represented creatives through an on-going series of community focused group exhibitions. Applications for group exhibitions are announced periodically.

Sorse Gallery welcomes submissions from artists, designers, events coordinators and commercial uses that align with our creative values. Submissions for exhibiting artists, events and other commercial uses can be made on our application page, or email us at mail@sorsegallery.com to commence a discussion.

Sorse Gallery is led by co-founder and Director, Jax Plumley, a Melbourne/Naarm based gallerist, designer and registered architect.

We are located at 31 Colebrook Street in Brunswick, Melbourne/Naarm on Wurundjeri Woiwurrung Land. Public transport connections to both train (Upfield line) and tram (Routes 6 + 19) are easily accessible within a short walk, as well as on-street parking.

Our public opening hours are exhibition dependant and can vary for individual exhibition durations. Please check our current and upcoming exhibitions to see what is on and when we are open. For visits outside advertised exhibition opening hours please contact us via email us to arrange a viewing by appointment.
